Educational Achievements

Patricia Kennedy Arrington, DVM, CVFP and Sarah Cheever, DVM, CVFP, have recently passed rigorous studies and testing to become two of the first to be certified in the new field of Veterinary Family Practice.  There are currently only 15 veterinarians and animal related professionals who have achieved this distinction.  Read more.

Nancy Barr - International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council Basic Wildlife 1AB - Nancy has successfully completed the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council's Basic Wildlife Rehabilitation 1AB course and has been awarded a Certificate of Completion to attest to her ability and aptitude in the field of Wildlife Rehabilitation.

Nancy Barr and Meagan Stange - Veterinary Nutritional Advocate - these staff members completed extensive studying and testing to obtain this certification. These staff members are specifically trained in providing advice for proper canine and feline nutrition. Whether the pet is healthy, overweight, or ill - these staff members can provide the owner with the best recommendations for diet.

Monica Cox - Ultrasound Technician - Monica has been to several classes to learn specifically about ultrasound and echocardiography.

Meagan Stange - Veterinary Dental Technician- Meagan has completed an intense course of study to learn how to perform a complete dental cleaning and charting.

Meagan Stange - Online veterinary technician courses- Canine Emergency First Aid, Radiology, Complete Urinalysis- these classes are offered by online veterinary websites.
